The Postmark has introduced a new contender to the Chillicothe Night Life. Prohibition: Legendary Bourbon Bar is bringing style and class with an atmosphere reminiscent of the gilded age. We offer an amazing bourbon selection, live music, and top-notch signature cocktails. There’s no other place like it in Chillicothe.

A signature cocktail is any unique or original drink that expresses the nature of the person or establishment creating it. At Prohibition, we don’t just have any cocktails; we offer signature cocktails that match our branding and personality. The drinks are strong, uncomplicated, and sophisticated, mixed with fun.
Some of our favorite signature cocktails are:
The Express–Vodka, Peach Schnapps, OJ, Cranberry juice, Grenadine, garnished with an orange slice
The Prohibition–Bourbon, Demerara, a dash of Angostura bitters, garnished with orange peel & lemon. Option to have smoked! (pictured on right)
Lemon Drop Martini–Vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, garnished with lemon. Simple and classy.
Is your mouth watering yet? I’m ready for that lemon drop martini just from writing about it! You’ll have to come to visit to try them for yourself.
Signature cocktails are especially popular at weddings. A signature cocktail is a great way to add personal touches to your wedding day. It’s also a great way to save money on alcohol at your wedding. For example, if you offer 2 signature cocktails with beer and wine, you’ll spend less than offering a variety of liquors. And the signature cocktails are more fun and create a great experience for your guests. The bride and groom can each choose their favorite cocktail and give it a name unique to them. Some couples name them after their pets, some after special places or important experiences they’ve shared.
Prohibition is a great place to be with friends on a weekend night in Chillicothe! Come check it out Friday and Saturday evenings 6 pm-midnight. We are periodically closed for weddings because all couples who book their wedding or event at The Postmark get Prohibition as their wedding bar!
